Meet my Dad
My Dad just published his first book (500 pages!) at age 77. He did this while being the full time caretaker to his ailing wife, volunteering his time helping drug and alcohol addicts to stay clean and running a business that matches cancer patients to clinical trials. I am so proud of him!
It is never too late.
Whatever your dream, please don’t let yourself make excuses as to why you can’t pursue them Love. Because for every one of our excuses (time, money, husband, kids), there are countless people we can find who did it despite these apparent limitations.
Where there is a will, there is a way so please for the sheer joy of it and for the benefit of the world –
find your will to do it.
It never occurred to my Dad that he couldn’t. He just didn’t allow that thought to creep in. His vision and drive pulled him forward allowing him to blast past the “limitations”.
That is what SoulFUEL™ does for you.
Once you know it with certainty, it completely captivates you.
Other than being a mom, a wife, a [fill-in-the-blank] – what mark do you want to leave behind? Who are your favorite role models? And what have they shown you about living a life where obstacles are viewed only as challenges to overcome so they can be used as fuel to propel forward? Tell me below. I’d love to hear about the people in your life who have inspired you – those who never allow excuses to define their lives. Let’s use this as an opportunity to collect stories of people we know who are up to great things.
By the way, when I confirmed the details with my Dad before sharing this he replied, “Yes Missie. Even a blind chicken gets a kernel of corn now and then.” The man has always been hilarious.
